
The best part about being in charge of my own happiness is that I have power over who controls my happiness. I am the only one responsible for the joy in my life, therefor I am the only one who can decide who I let have an affect on my emotions. I like being the one who decides how I react to people and situations in my day to day life, and, most of the time, there is not too much that can rob me of my inner peace and happiness. Given the fact that meditation and mindfulness are mood altering ‘calm shields’ to protect me from the harshness of stress, I am proud to say that it takes a lot to make waves within my inner sanctuary. My happiness is something that I work daily towards protecting from the rat race, and I hope that others can build a barrier against stress to maintain the daily happiness within!
