Being present in each moment leaves no room for self harming thoughts and the anxiety that separates me from the actions around me. The moments that I spend away from the joy of life around me are moments that I will never get back! This means that my anxiety can be what I make of life, or the joy of living can be made, instead. I choose to involve myself in the life that I have, and reap the benefits of not giving space to the anxiety that removes me from the happiness of each day. My daily affirmation for today is just what I need to remember to keep calm and enjoy life. Today, I will affirm, as often as needed: “I am calm and present!” I know that I will enjoy the reminder to let go, and experience the world around me. I hope that others will join me in this daily affirmation.
