I know that there are people and organizations to help when in a mental health crisis, and I also know that there are so many everyday people who are affected, in one way or another, by depression and anxiety – maybe a loved one, neighbor, or even a coworker. This is a way to know that others understand what I am going through, and are sympathetic to my needs. Today’s daily affirmation will encourage me to draw strength from this knowledge. Today, as I need encouragement, I will declare: “There are people who understand what I am going through!” This will strengthen me to know that I am not alone in my mental health journey, and I encourage others to use this affirmation to their good.
