And Now I See The Reward!

It was the longest day of my life, or so it seemed! I had gotten an early start to the day, and headed to a neighboring town to do some shopping and treat myself to a haircut and eyebrow wax. These things alone were not the problem; the problem was the fact that it was two days before Christmas, and everything was getting in my way. After my salon day and some shopping, I began to gather the things needed for my up coming career change. I know that I have what it takes to do this new job, and do it well, but everything that could go wrong did.

I was in need of some computer equipment to enhance what I have already gathered for the job interview, and that one last item had to play hard to get! The day was already winding down, and I had purchased what I believed would do the trick, but after getting home and unloading all of my bags, I decided to give it a dry run to see the equipment working properly before I rested. To my dismay, the new piece for my office computer was all wrong, and I knew tat I could not get much else done at that short of a notice.

As I began to surf the internet for the right part, I encountered every set back imaginable, but was determined not to give up. Just when I got all my ducks in a row for my upcoming interview, I felt the weight of the day bearing down on me. The first thing that my mind went to for comfort was meditation, and let me tell you how much of a relief I knew that I would be feeling soon! The comfort that I knew was about to happen was reminiscent of the old commercial for Calgon Bath Soak: “Calgon take me away!” I decided to blog about this almost instant relief treatment to allow others to know the joy in meditation. I hope that I can encourage someone who has contemplated meditating, but has yet to give it a try, to do so and see for themselves the reward offered with continual use.
