As a sufferer from depression and anxiety, I believe that others clump me into a different category. I may not be taken as seriously, or blown of when I have issues or complaints (this is why I try not to complain). But I would like others to know that my feelings are real and valid. Today’s daily affirmation is directed at letting me know how seriously my feelings are to me, and it will affirm to me that they are important. Today, I will make the mental note: “my feelings are valid!” This will allow me to not think away my feelings that are different, labeling it as anxiety or a delusional way of thinking (it is good not to let others tell you how to feel, or what to feel). I hope that others will join my, today, and affirm that they have real and valid feelings.
