Over the past few years, I have been using holistic practices, like diet and herbs, along with meditation to build what I like to call my “calm shield.” This shield has allowed me the headway in my battle with depression and anxiety, so, today’s daily affirmation will remind me of how far that I have come. Today, I will dwell on the statement: “every day, I become calmer, more positive, and more confident!” Reminding myself this is a great way to encourage me in moments of self doubt and frustration. I hope that other anxiety sufferers can work to build their calm shield and utilize it’s freeing power!
