It is always good to be present, but when there is conflict, I become distracted by reviewing the moment mentally throughout my day. There are times when I can just go through the motions while I rehash negative moments of my day, but I need to remind myself that letting go and moving on with my day is mentally healing. My Daily Affirmation for today is a reminder to let go and live life in the now. Today, I will dwell on the statement: “I live in the present!” I know that it is just what I need to remind myself to let go of conflicting moments. No amount of mental replay will change the past, and I can be present and enjoy the rest of my day by repeating this affirmative statement. I hope that others will enjoy being present, as well.
