Caring for my mental wellbeing is a major aspect of my recovery, and meditation and yoga are tools to provide a healing avenue. They are just as important as physical activity and a healthy diet are to my physical health. This is why today’s affirmation is: “I value my mental health as much as my physical health!” I can sharpen my mental focus by changing the amount of quality time that I spend towards activities that make the difference. I have a passion for positivity and for inner peace, and meditation – along with morning yoga – greatly improve the quality of my day. I am thankful for discovering the Isha Foundation, where I am learning the importance of morning yoga and daily meditation. I hope that others will look towards these tools for mental recovery, because I know how well they improve the quality of life!
