Resilience of the mind is one thing that I am grateful for on my journey to mental healing. The mind has the ability to heal, though it takes applying time and effort to rebuild, just like repairing the other functions of the body. It is possible to recover from mental wounds the same as healing the skin after sutures. The good part is how the life blossoms when meditation and holistic practices, such as diet, are applied. Though it takes more effort than healing skin abrasions, there can be a full healing – and the processes for mental health helps to eleminating scarring (mental scars can be worse than other scars).

Letting go gives freedom for healing.
