GRATITUDE CHALLENGE DAY TWENTY-SIX

I have a great deal of gratitude for the ability to let go. Everyone has baggage from the past, but letting go is the only way to totally heal from the past. Holding grudges only allows the heart and mind to dwell on resentment creating hatred, because it festers like an untreated open wound. Another aspect of holding onto past hurts is that the same situations end up in the future, and continues to create pain. Forgiving and moving on is the best way to create positive energy in your life. Forgiving does not mean that the same people are a part of your life again, but it helps to draw a mental mark for a brighter future full of positive changes. Thinking negatively is not the solution, but removing the negative from your heart and mind will open doors that are new with possibilities.

Holding on only carries the pain along with you.
