GRATITUDE CHALLENGE: DAY SIXTEEN

One important virtue that I am grateful to have gained in my lifetime is overcoming the need to excuse every character flaw that my pride wanted me to keep. The need to hold on to the greedy and selfish qualities has left me, and it has left me a person for the better. I am grateful for the mental freedom that comes from letting go of my previous childish state. Sadly, there are grown people in this world who are hiding childish ways and fighting to save face; it does not really work, and being able to embrace changing for the betterment of society is a beautiful quality. I do realize that there are habits that I still need to improve upon, and I am eager to gain more from this virtue as time goes on – I am also grateful for the mental freedom that it comes from it.
