GRATITUDE CHALLENGE: DAY TWELVE

The love of physical activity is one of my most favorite attributes; considering the amount of years that I wasted on an unhealthy lifestyle. The truth is, I have allowed my habits to be modified over the past 30 plus years, and I will say that physical activity gives me less time to wallow in my pity. During the darkest years of this 30 year battle, my weight had reached about 400 pounds. The joy of physical activity has grown into being an important tool for my mental and physical health. Both of my parents led an unhealthy lifestyle and both passed away before 60 years of age, and I was in my middle 30’s when this happened. I looked at my dire need for lifestyle changes, and just started out simply; the better the physical activity made me feel, the more I began to increase my activity. I am proud of myself for being as physically fit as I am, and I am closer to my goal weight – that is even more inspiration for me.
